Graphically this is a great game. The controls fall down miserably. Very, very difficult to aim and the on rails deal makes your tactical option nonexistent. They need a total rethink of the controls and your ability to move more freely in you environment. If it was graphics plus the original DOOM ability to move in the environment then 5 stars, no question.

With a fun little story thrown in. Liked it a lot.

Not a bad game once you get used to the contols. Its a rail shooter, but you move along slowly so you dont have much trouble picking up health, ammo and secrets. The monsters get old fast because they use the same few over and over. The graphics and sounds reminds me of Doom 3. Some of the weapons are nice: you get the chaingun, bfg, plasma gun and the infamous double-barrel shotgun, but you can only carry 3 at a time: the machine gun, the shotgun and one of the specialty weapons. The game is short, although there are plenty of challenges to accomplish for added replayability. This game is fun, not too hard or too easy, but it would be great if they took it off the rail, let you use all the weapons and added more levels to make it worth the 5 bucks.

I hate how the game guides you. I can make it past the Mancubi because of it. Fix it. >=

Doom resurrection is a pretty good game. It is a little misleading, its a rail shooter not an FPS. But for my first doom game this is pretty good (just bought doom 3: bfg edition on steam). Just a warning the controls ( tilting ) are kind of awkward for those who play FPS games.

I heard this game used to be 2.99 before, even 9.99 some time ago. While that price would surely have been a rip off, this rail shooter is definitely worth a buck. Though the ability to roam freely makes it not at all scary to the original doom series, it is still fun to play. I totally enjoyed it. Hope more updates with new levels and challenges come soon!

Its a Doom-themed rail shooter. It simply works well. Awesome graphics and controls that are easy to maneuver. Like playing an arcade shooter on your phone.

Loved it before, but iOS 7 release makes the load screen move over to right so you cant launch game. Dont download until they fix. Paid $5 cant play.

The game doenst work past the first chapter! Screen gets turned around at the level select screen and you cant choose a level! Please update, theres no way to play the game besides being stuck on chapter 1.

Great game but was mostly used to create the bfg additions lost mission

This game is a disgrace to doom. Rail shooters are god awful. And this game is no exception. I want my money back! The controls are very bad, WHO WANTS GYROSCOPE CONTROLLS? If you want a "good" DOOM on IOS, dont look here.

You cannot save your game if you die, you cannot aim by yourself alone, just a awful awful waste of money!!!
